The Efficiency and Creep of the Double roller Full Toroidal Variator (DFTV) has been modelled by a leading Italian Tribology Laboratory against the Single Roller Full Toroidal Variator (SFTV) and the Single Roller Half Toroidal Variator (SHTV). The modelling predict almost 100% efficiency and zero creep making it the most efficient CVT mechanism ever.
The Double Roller Full Toroidal Variator (DFTV) remains more than 5% more efficient than the Single Roller Full Toroidal Variator (SFTV) or the Single Roller Half Toroidal Variator (SHTV) and two to three times more Power Dense.
